This class teaches the basics of jazz technique as well as some funky moves and a routine. Students can either perform six times throughout the year or just for our end of year concert depending on what’s best for their family.

This is a very popular style which uses steps from various Hip Hop techniques. In this class your child will be learning how to isolate the body and learn some basic Hip Hop steps to popular music, suitable for their age group. Lyrical is a combination of jazz and ballet moves. It is done to softer popular music such as Adele. This class combines technique, stretching and moves relevant to Lyrical and Contemporary Dance. Students do not wear shoes for this class. Students learn techniques as well as a routine which they can perform throughout the year or just for the end of year concert depending on what is best for their family. 

A great class for an introduction to circus skills. In this class your child will be able to have a try at everything in our circus syllabus. This will include juggling, silks, trapeze and hoop. The class is done in a circuit format so that in every lesson, the students get a try at all skills. These students are given the opportunity to perform in our circus and acrobatics showcase.

A class where students learn the basics of acrobatics, cartwheels, forward rolls, backward rolls etc. Through to advanced skills such as back walkovers, backflips and no handed cartwheels. All students work at their own level and progress when they are ready. This class does a showcase at the end of the year to show their families their new skills. 

Students learn the basics of singing including scales, techniques and a song which they perform in the end of year concert. A super fun class for those who love group singing 

Drama classes create self confidence. Students are taught speaking and acting skills that they will not only use now but later in life. A super fun class. Students get to perform in the mid year showcase. 

PAWS has qualified teachers from the Royal Academy of Dance for it’s ballet classes. Our Rising Star Classes would include Grade 1- for seven year olds turning eight Grade 2- for 8 year olds turning nine Grade 3- For nine year olds turning ten and grade 4 for ten year olds turning eleven. Ballet is the foundation of all dance technique and is a great way for students to gain muscle control that will help all other areas of their dancing. 

Musical Theatre is where students learn an item from an actual musical where they sing, dance and act all in one class. A very popular class this allows kids to hone in on many skills at once. Students learn techniques as well as a routine which they can perform throughout the year or just for the end of year concert depending on what is best for their family.
